IDSA establishes formal affiliation agreements with state and regional infectious diseases societies to work together in advancing the field of ID and to support ID professionals locally.

IDSA recognizes that regulations and policies affecting the ID field in terms of inpatient and outpatient practice, public health, reimbursement, access to specialty care, diagnostics and medications are promulgated and regulated at the state and regional level. By strengthening ties, this program allows state and regional societies to monitor and act on strategic priorities and advocacy efforts across both organizations.

• Complete the IDSA SRS Questionnaire.
  
  
• Sign and submit SRS Affiliate Agreement to IDSA along with Articles of Incorporation, Determination Letter from the IRS and Organization Bylaws.
